We are proud to announce that Fiddlesticks Country Club has been selected to host the 49th USGA Senior Women’s Amateur Championship, that will take place October 9 – 14, 2010. This is a first for Southwest Florida, as the USGA has never before held a national championship in this area. That week, 132 of the nation’s best senior women amateur golfers, as well as USGA committee members, will become “residents” of Southwest Florida. This is a perfect opportunity to showcase our local businesses which help make the Southwest Florida lifestyle so desirable.
The ultimate success of this event will rely heavily on the contributions of our own membership as well as the support and generosity of the local business community.
We ask that you review the enclosed options sheet and pledge your support of this important and exciting championship via a contribution. In exchange, many promotional opportunities will be offered to your business before, during, and after the championship. Some of these include an invitation to the Supporter Appreciation Day and program advertising space. Large, attractive supporter boards will also be prominently displayed during the championship inside the clubhouse and on the course.

Supporter Appreciation Day
September 25, 2010
The Fiddlesticks host committee for the 2010 USGA Senior Women’s Amateur Championship has planned a wonderful and leisurely day of golf and lunch as a way of thanking our kind and generous supporters. The entire day is of no charge to all participants. Local print and TV media will be invited to cover and play that day.

8:30 AM Shotgun start on the Long Mean. Refreshments and snacks
available on the golf course.
1:00 PM Luncheon in the clubhouse—leisure or golf attire
Formal recognition of major supporters
Unveiling of the “Supporter Boards’ that will be showcased in the clubhouse and on the grounds during championship week
