Welcome to Fiddlesticks Country Club

A Nice Place To Live And Play…

Fiddlesticks Country Club is unique. Every resident is an Equity Member with an equal interest in the pride and care of this treasure. Fiddlesticks is member-owned, operated and totally solvent. And for non-residents, there are several membership options available…Social, Tennis, Annual, and Non-Resident Equity memberships. Rental opportunities are also available.

From its inception, Fiddlesticks Country Club has been a rare jewel in southwest Florida and a wonderful place to call home. With two distinctly different championship golf courses and less than 300 members per course, it is the lowest density/course country club in the area. A beautiful clubhouse and facilities, a family-friendly atmosphere and caring, efficient staff assure an exceptional member experience.

Fiddlesticks members come home to a wide range of custom estates, single-family homes and single or two-story condominiums. The two golf courses winding through the community, generous common grounds, and large lot sizes with comfortable setbacks, all enhance the expansive setting and beautiful community that is Fiddlesticks.

The sterling reputation of Fiddlesticks started in the design and development stages. The famous Long Mean course was named early on as one of Golf Digest Magazines’ Top 100 Golf Courses in the USA. The Long Mean has hosted many PGA Tour pros such as Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Lee Trevino. The 7,077-yard, par 72 Long Mean inspires players through its challenging course design and breathtaking beauty. The second championship golf course, the Wee Friendly, represents very different challenges, with sparkling lakes in play on two-thirds of its holes.

Members love the easy access to the courses; tee times may be made online or with a simple personal phone call to the pro shop. Playing times average well under four hours and with many year-round members, it’s easy to get a match even out of season. Our members may even own their own golf carts.

Fiddlesticks members also love that both courses, the practice areas, putting greens, and the spacious clubhouse have all been recently renovated, while the club remains debt free.

Beyond golf, there are many other activities for you and your family. The amenities include an elegant new Tennis and Fitness Center, a junior olympic pool, and a playground for children. Fiddlesticks’ complete tennis complex features competitive and social matches for team and singles play, and a very popular junior program. Eight Har-Tru courts, four lighted, offer a variety of programs for all ages and playing levels.

The dining rooms at Fiddlesticks are always busy, a testament to Chef Joe's culinary expertise. Menus change to reflect the season and take advantage of the freshest ingredients available. Casual dining on the balcony, intimate formal dining, friendly social and special events, all contribute to the best country club dining experience in the area. You’ll also enjoy the friendly get togethers around the piano in the bar lounge. Pleasure or business, the gracious staff will assist you in planning any event and will ensure your guests feel especially welcome.

We are proud to announce that Fiddlesticks Country Club has been selected to host the 2010 USGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship, October 9-14. This is a first for southwest Florida, as the USGA has never before held a national championship in this area.
